MrQ.com appoints new Head of Commercial Strategy with eye on global expansion

Lindar Media, operators of the award-winning MrQ.com platform have hired Daniel de Souza, formerly Global Head of Strategy and Operations with BGO Entertainment, as Head of Commercial Strategy.

MrQ.com has emerged as a challenger platform in the UK space with expansion plans into new markets, of which de Souza will form part of a global strategy to grow the business ensuring efficiencies across the growing supply chain.

de Souza brings a wealth of experience having spent eight years with the Betway group, overseeing the retention department then moving to BGO Entertainment to ultimately lead the global strategy of the business. Daniel said: “I had a great time with BGO and would like to thank the company for the memories and experience.”

Savvas Fellas, Lindar Media’s Managing Director added: “Dan has amazing exposure and understanding of both the operational side and of the commercial side of what it takes to run a successful but more importantly, a scalable business.

On speaking about the decision to leave BGO Entertainment after four years, de Souza concluded: “The time was right to move onto a new challenge. As ever, with change comes opportunity and I believe joining a strong tech focussed disruptor platform like MrQ, presents multiple opportunities as they continue to challenge other brands”

Alongside the appointment of de Souza, Lindar recently expanded its operational teams in Malta and Gibraltar.
