ESA Gaming makes Portuguese market debut with Casino Portugal
Innovative games provider ESA Gaming has entered the Portuguese market for the first time after a signing a deal to provide its EasySwipe titles to leading local operator Casino Portugal.
Casino Portugal’s customers will soon be able to play ESA’s EasySwipe games, including best performing title Fruit Staxx. Players will later gain access to ESA’s upcoming titles with several releases scheduled for the year.
Developed to seamlessly integrate into sportsbooks to offer players the best quality casino games without disrupting the sports betting portfolio, ESA’s EasySwipe portfolio brings something truly unique to a crowded marketplace.
With fast-resolving, quick-gratification games, the titles give sports bettors an alternative experience and introduces them to a new vertical of casino games with proven cross-selling capacity.
Casino Portugal is a leading operator in the country and offers sports betting and online casino games through a pioneering proprietary national platform. The company has a land-based history and launched its online brand as the Portuguese market opened in 2016.
The deal marks ESA’s first foray into the Portuguese market following a certification process that will allow for further deals in the country. Online gaming revenue in Portugal increased by 58% during the fourth quarter of 2020 with online slots accounting for 71% of gameplay. Fifteen operators have licences to offer both online gaming and sports betting in the country.
